Not as many books covered this month as I had hoped but still so many amazing reads! Anyone else catch the Gilmore Girls Revival? I must admit with so many amazing movies (Fantastic Beasts!) and T.V. releases this month I didn’t read nearly as much as I hoped to.

Her designs absolutely make you smile and say “awww!”. They are inspired by everyday life, puns and inside jokes.

This week we continue with our theme of great nerdy gifts! Anyone who frequents #bookstagram as much as I do, has seen Jordandené and their fun tees. I love that they are a small company based out of Brooklyn, NY.

The Bomber Jacket trend is certainly here to stay this year. A closet staple of celebrities and well known t.v. shows, this style has been seen everywhere across media. The Bomber Jacket, also known as a flight jacket, was originally created for use by pilots. After first being worn in World War I, the bomber jacket has grown in popularity throughout the world. This year it takes on a new look with bright colors, new textures and fresh silhouettes. Whether oversized or embroidered, it’s all about the details!

It’s that time of year again, Halloween has come and gone and the holiday season is right around the corner. Today’s weekly fave features my dearest friend and her amazing shop. Hollyvander’s is perfect for all your witch and wizard needs. From art prints, to ornaments and of course, very Potter bookmarks, it’s all here to help fill stockings or add that final touch to a personalized gift.
Check out some of my favourite Hollyvander’s items below the cut.
November is finally upon us and that means it is time for my first ever photo challenge! I have teamed up with Kiera of @beauty.books to host a book challenge for this month.
How do you participate? It’s easy! Each day has a prompt, which you are free to interpret as you wish, take a photo that best represents your interpretation for the day and post it to instagram with the hashtag #notthepathtobeautybooks. Be sure to check out the other great photos in the tag as well! I love participating in photo challenges and I’ve met some really great friends through the tags. That is definitely my favourite part of the bookstagram community.
Let me know if you have any questions about the challenge in the comments below. Happy Bookstagramming!
